12Palindrome Check

    Easystrings

    Write is_palindrome(text) that returns True if text reads the same forwards and backwards.

    Ignore upper/lower case and ignore anything that is not a letter or a digit, so "A man, a plan, a canal: Panama" counts.

    Examples

    Example 1
    >>> is_palindrome('racecar')
    True
    Example 2
    >>> is_palindrome('A man, a plan, a canal: Panama')
    True

    Run examples checks the 2 examples above. Submit runs all 7 tests, including hidden edge cases, and marks the challenge solved.
